I'm leaving... On a jet plane...

Amsterdam! So after 12 hours I'm finally here. The flight was not pleasant at all since I didn't get any sleep at all. Once I got here though the last thing I want to do is sleep! Apparently we chose the best time to arrive in amsterdam. Right in the midst of the gay pride celebrations. The red light district is so surreal... The best way to describe it is a line from a tv show: "I was aroused, then furious".
So far, my favorite thing is how many bikes there are! Traffic feels like a continuous organized disaster, but it seems like everyone respects one another. I think its like rock paper scissors. Cars beat pedestrians, bicycles beat cars, and pedestrians get in t way of bicycles.
Over here, everyone is so tall! Remember in super mario bro 3 where you enter the big world and everything is suddenly gigantic? When you're just about to give up hope, you find that black door and everything goes back to normal size.
Now where's that black door... I see too many...
